Pennsylvania Unions Tell Trump To Stop Ignoring Workers and Save the Airlines.

President Donald J. Trump will hold yet another hanger rally at the Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown for a rally this evening following his announcement of his tainted Supreme Court nominee.  The officers of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO, representing more than 700,000 workers statewide, issued the following statements:

“While Donald Trump uses Air Force One as his campaign backdrop, he refuses to do anything for the men and women who work in these airports and on the airlines.  But then again, when was the last time Donald Trump flew on a plane that wasn’t a private jet? Never.  He’s never been on the side of unions and working people. He has never had to worry about where his next meal was going to come from.  Meanwhile, he’s neglected to act to save the thousands of workers who will lose their jobs with our airlines in a matter of days when the Paycheck Support Program expires,” stated President Rick Bloomingdale.

“These airports aren’t the President’s personal campaign venue. These are workplaces for tens of thousands of Americans whose paychecks are on the line.  President Trump and his GOP have repeatedly refused to pass relief aid for those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic fallout from their lack of leadership.  This is just another example of how our jobs don’t matter to Donald Trump unless they’re his political backdrop,” remarked Secretary-Treasurer Frank Snyder.
