Tom Wolf has a GOTV tour of his own, and he will have traveled to all 67 of Pennsylvania’s counties by Election Day.
Today, his bus led a motorcade all over Philadelphia to various UFCW-represented grocery stores among other stops. Tom was joined by his wife Frances, one of his two daughters Sarah and his running mate Mike Stack.
President Bloomingdale and Secretary-Treasurer Snyder were proud to have the PA AFL-CIO RV be a part of the motorcade and join our union sisters and brothers in rallying support around the man who can dig Pennsylvania out of the mess it has gotten into over the last four years – that is if we all Get Out The Vote!
We were joined by some wonderful union leaders and elected officials along the way. Thank you to UFCW Local 1776 President Wendell Young IV, AFSCME District Council 88 Director Tom Tosti, State Senator Vince Hughes, State Representative Margo Davidson, State Representative Jordan Harris and Philadelphia Councilman Kenyatta Johnson.
Also, we want to thank the owner of the West Philly Shoprite Jeff Brown for his support of, not only Tom Wolf, but the UFCW members who work at his store.
Check out all the photos from today’s GOTV stops.
Despite a rainy day in Philly, we are as fired up as ever. The one thing we cannot stress enough is the need to get our friends, families and neighbors to vote. Just because the polls for the gubernatorial race are favorable to Wolf, does not mean that is how the election will turn out. The only poll that matters is taken on November 4.
