Who: Union members who are interested in learning skills to positively affect their communities.
Cost: $275 per delegate (Sponsorships for first-time attendees are available, which cover the registration fee and the hotel room fee). Scholarships are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

PA AFL-CIO Community Services Institute
Mission: Union members are members of their communities, and the PA AFL-CIO Community Services Institute seeks to provide education and training for our members to better understand issues in their communities and the skills to help their fellow community members.
Goal: Develop knowledge and tools to engage community resources.
1) Educate about the longstanding partnership between the AFL-CIO and the United Way.
2) Establish and Strengthen your community service committee within your local union or CLC.
3) Develop skills to conduct meaningful Labor-based community service events in communities and effectively build community partnerships.
4) Understand how politics affect your community and your life.
