CLUW Holds Biennial Convention, Chapter Reports

CLUW’s National President Elise Bryant opened this high energy 2019  20th Biennial Convention of the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW), held at the Tropicana Las Vegas, with encouraging words to all union sisters from all 54 international and national unions across the U.S. and Canada.

CLUW members attended workshops and learned how to interact with State and the National AFL-CIO learned to develop alliances with national and local level of all labor women and learned to be a Pillar of Political engagement and action on labor issues that affect women.

York/Adams County White Rose Coalition of Labor Union women are proud and filled with gratitude to be members of this organization that provides leadership, skill-building, networking and educational programs to train and empower women to take on leadership roles in labor organizations.

Lori Cutshall and Kay Krout represented their CLUW Chapter at the 2019 Conference sponsored by the York Adams Counties’ Central Labor Council. They develop a strategy for the 2020 goal to expand chapter membership of White Rose CLUW into Adams County, Pennsylvania.
