Bob Casey Joins Union Members at Phone Bank in Harrisburg in Massive Union Outreach

So far, 450 union volunteers made 40,000 calls in the Harrisburg area

 

Harrisburg, PA: Bob Casey will join union members at a phone bank in Harrisburg to celebrate the Pennsylvania Labor 2006 program and recognize the volunteers and their contributions to union members in Harrisburg and across the state of Pennsylvania.

Bob Casey will spend time talking to volunteers and recognizing their contributions to his candidacy and other working family candidates.  The phone banks are a key part of the Pennsylvania Labor 2006 program, which seeks to mobilize Pennsylvania’s 1.4 million union voters.

Across Pennsylvania, 100,000 calls are made weekly with an average of 250 phone bankers daily in 30 phone locations.  In the Harrisburg area, 450 union volunteers phone bank for working family candidates.  Since the end of August, union volunteers in the Harrisburg area have made 40,000 calls, with 275,000 live phone calls statewide.
