PA Lawmakers Announce Introduction of Workplace Freedom Act

Senators Lindsey M. Williams, Jay Costa, and Vincent J. Hughes joined by local elected officials, Allegheny-Fayette County Labor Council members, and a crowd of union workers, announced the introduction of the Workplace Freedom Act today at the Allegheny County Courthouse. ICYMI: Governor’s Workforce Command Center Draws Bipartisan Support

This week, Governor Tom Wolf signed an executive order establishing the Keystone Economic Development and Workforce Command Center to help our Commonwealth build the strongest workforce in the nation.  The Governor appointed President Rick Bloomingdale to as a Command Center co-chair.  The Pennsylvania union movement is committed to playing a key role in preparing Pennsylvania workers for the jobs of the future.
